watched #MIRAI : Let me make this clear, This is Not a Cult Classic Movie but a VERY GOOD movie with a proper mix of Fiction & Mythology along with Commercial Elements!!! A good movie on how an Underdog turned into Super Hero with a touch of Puranas!!!

Wait a Minute….why do I have a déjà vu of reviewing Hanu-Man!! Teja Sajja should have done at least a movie or two before committing to MIRAI, just to give the audience a fair chance to enjoy this movie without having comparisons with Hanu-Man!!!

Content wise the film had a lot to explore on the arc of Villain and the arc of Hero and their final clash… which had full potential of going into a multi-part movie with grand climax. But somewhere I felt the director rushed into making it a single part movie of the story. When the normal commercial movies like Devara and Kingdom have forcefully dragged their story to make it a two-part film, I am totally disappointed in Karthik, who is the Writer and Director of the movie for lacking the vision to work a bit more on the depth of the content and make it informative about Ashoka’s 9 Hidden books and its contents and also establish the Villain and Hero’s character arcs properly instead he rushed to finish the movie in a single part thus giving scope for dissatisfaction with a few loose ends

Execution of CGI is the saving grace of this movie along with Top Notch Production Values….There are few scenes which give us a vibe of watching a High-Budget Movie and the Team should be specially appreciated for it.

BGM was very Good and highlights the CGI scenes to give Goosebumps for sure.

Acting wise Teja Sajja was perfect as an Underdog turned Super Hero but as I mentioned he already played a similar character in Hanu-Man with the only difference being Village person vs a Street Smart City Boy in this movie.

Manchu Manoj was perfect for this role and he did justice. I only feel bad for him as the Story writers didn’t put extra effort to dive more into his character building which would have made him into one of the most memorable Villain roles in Indian Movies (similar to Thanos)

Shriya Saran as Ambika was a Fresh Casting and she did complete justice to her role….Except for Hindi Drusyam where she played a normal Housewife character, I don’t think she had any author-backed roles to showcase her acting skills and Man she did impress me a lot 😍

On a Final Note….This movie had everything in it to become an EPIC Multipart Franchise more than a Bahubali or KGF only to be ruined by some lazy efforts of the Story Writer and Screenplay department 😡 As a Normal Audience You can either Like this movie to the core or feel it's a Good Movie as a one-time watch, but as a Film buff I could easily see a Golden opportunity Missed 😢
