Mahanati — The Auditorium

to start with…..the audience for this movie can be classified into 3 types:

1. The old old age ppl, who lived during the aura of Savitri and are keen to see how the current generation has show cased her aura on screen

2. The next category is the old aged ppl…who though may have not lived through the aura, may have known little about her (jst like the current kids known about Chiru) and are keen to see her story

3. The last group who may have no idea who the hell Savitri is and are least bothered to know about her aura….but came to theater just for a cinematic experience

and the beauty of this EPIC is all the above 3 types of audience get glued to the movie withine first 20 mins and leave the auditorium with heart full of emotions!!!

The first 2 types of audience will find the Biopic a great tribute to the legendary actress, whereas the the 3 type of audience will find the movie similar to the lines of Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion set in the Movue backdrop and 1960’s aura……irrespective of your perspective of watching the movie, you will surely get involved till the rolling titles and the 3 hrs long movie never feel like Long!!!!

The Director, Cinematographer and the Dialogue writer and BGM composer have made sure that the audience get lost in the beauty of the Black n White era…….

Rather than narrating the biography in a simple and straight manner, the director has cleverly mixed it with the story of a Journalist shows his brilliance _/\_ The first 10 mins itself gives the audience a clue about what they are goining to witness in the next 2.5 hrs and the Climax with superb dialogues and Samantha’s performance is simply a standout _/\_ _/\_ _/\_

Keerthy suresh and Dulquer Salmaan just lived in the chars of Savitri and Gemini Ganeshan!!!!

haa…….could keep on writing on this movie, but cannot 100% put the emotions I have gone through while watching it……Thanks Nag Ashwin for the wonderful experience, you have dreamt about this Biopic and made it Big….Very Very Big!!!
