an average movie which could be watched only for the performances of its lead cast…and Raw Cinematography!!!
content wise this movie had the potential to showcase good political drama setup in a village from early 90’s….however the writer/director wanted to avoid the obvious comparisons with Rangasthalam and shifted the focus towards Love vs Lust concept and hence content wise this movie looks like half cooked…but the director balanced the limitation in content with some terrific cinematography and raw action scenes….though the music is average BGM has been very good to lift the mood of the action and emotional scenes
its Nani’s performance that stands out…this is the first time he tried such a raw and massy role (may be Jenda Pai Kapiraju and Paisa can be ignored here for obvious reasons) and he once again proved that he is an excellent actor….as we are used to boy next door roles of Nani, it will take us some time to sync in with his Telangana Accent and Massy Looks!!!!
Overall a One Time Watch……
