Sarkar 3
watched #Sarkar3......the major problem with the GodFather genre is the story and characterisations get repetitive and predictable. after the first installment of Sarkar, various filmmakers have tried to exploit it and the genre is beaten to death!!
with RGV going back to Sarkar....many of us would have expected him to give a new angle & definition to the genre.....unfortunately he doesn't and that's where I see a lot of negative reactions just because the expectations were too high!!!! I would bet the movie (taken as it is) would have been a good hit if RGV were not associated, such is the expectation on him
on that note....Sarkar3 has all the elements that are required for the genre. Powerful & Philosophical One-liners, Sophisticated Business Men, Corrupted Politicians, Slow Camera Moments, Weird Camera Angles and our own Govinda Govinda Goooovinda!!!!!
RGV did justice to the movie direction-wise, but being the 3rd part of the movie.....ppl are accustomed to Subash Nagre's Black Dress, White Beard and Silent Killer Looks and the Govinda Govinda BGM, hence as audience members we definitely miss the WOW factor which we experienced watching Sarkar for the very first time.
For the past few years, RGV has completely lost his golden touch ( in audience perspective) in film making & focusing on social media controversies.....with Sarkar3 though he is not back home, he has definitely found his way back!!!
PS : considering RGV's contribution.....he has worked and focused a lot these years on slow motions, camera angles and different types of cameras. I think it's time he should try to uncover something new in film making & story telling process which will awe the audience & film makers!!!!
