watched #Officer : before I start my analysis of the film, I will try to analyze the reasons why it got such disastrous reviews/mouth talk:

1. rather than the film being bad, Its more to do with RGV's recent offscreen attitude which has rubbed many ppl on the wrong side, and they were hell bent in making this film a disaster even before its release (including so called review writers)

2. the film is so realistic where the hero, being a cop, runs for his life and waits for the right moment, which doesn't gel well with the hero fans who want the hero to fight even 500 odd goondas irrespective of in which situation he is

3. the film has too much violence like chopping of a kid's finger, which doesn't suit the sensibilities of family and sensitive audience

4. RGV uses his weird camera angles which doesn't make for pleasant viewing for the normal audience who are accustomed to watch a movie from a specific angle

Now coming to the movie, I have seen reviews complaining about No story in the film......My first question to them is were they busy sleeping in theater?? Movie is just 2 hrs long and covers the conflict of a Police Officer who is also a Mafia Gangleader and another Officer who is falsely accused as a Mafia leader.....well how much more story do u need for a 2 hrs film???

Yes the movie is far from commercial aspects where there is no heroine and no hero elevation scenes or dialogues........but the movie is too real where the hero runs and the female lead has more gunshots than the hero _/\_ and though there are no hero elevation punch dialogues, there are thought-provoking dialogues like :

oka vishayani artham chesukone mundhu......daani guda artham chesukovalsina vishayam okati undi anni guda artham kavali.....

1. jivitham lo nuvu entha ethu edhiginaa....neekaaana payna okkadu untadu anni epudu gurthupetuko

2. aadu chepina...ee nijam abadhamooo....ee abadham nijamo...manam kanipetali

3. Snehithulanni degarunchukovali......satruvalani marinyha degaraunchukovali

4. Prathi manashullo devudu rakshasudu idharu unttaaru

5. warnings isthu nenu time waste cheyanu......and the villain simply chops off a kid's finger with this simple dialogue _/\_

Yes, I agree that RGV should come out of this underworld and mafia stories but that is what he and Nag have said in each and every interview.......and as they promised it has one of the best BGMs and realistic and intelligent action episodes (Beach episode, Essel World episode and whole Climax)

Just to conclude.....I might have loved this movie because I am an ardent fan of RGV and have his influence in the way I take pictures. However this movie was liked by my Wife n my daughter equally, which shows that if you go with an open mind...u have a chance of liking this movie!!!!
