2.0
watched #2.0 - to start with I have seen many posts where people are celebrating or making fun of the collections of this film...let me tell you
if this movie fails then Indian film industry doesn't deserve a creative genius like Shankar and he can comfortably move to Hollywood and that would be our greatest loss
How on earth can Shankar come up with these out-of-the-box concepts and visualization _/\_ pretty much like a Hollywood movie the whole movie revolves around a single concept and there are no unnecessary distractions and commercial elements......Shankar's visualisation is top-notch and it was always a challenge for the CGI team to make Shankars dream a reality. Story wise it is the only movie I have seen after Avatar which showcased the Human race in a negative light and I pretty much loved that concept. AR Rahman's BGM is World class. and Fans get to see typical Rajini style in only last 30 mins.
Wonder what Shankar could have achieved if he hadn't faced challenges with the CGI team
Those who are commenting on the movie by comparing it with Bahubali....please note that Bahubali was a periodic drama with time-tested formula of Brothers revenge ( story wise it didn't have any novelty) but 2.0 is a futuristic Sci-fi film with superb and creative story.....And Bahubali was perfectly packaged and marketed with Business brain of Rajamouli. So stop talking nonsense and give 2.0 its due credit. Shankar always comes with these unique story ideas (for I he came up with a story of a super successful model turned into an ugly beast due to a virus) and 2.0 on how mobiles make Humans run for their life _/\_
