to start with, many ppl are commenting on the movie for showing Sanjay Dutt in positive light and that he was shown as if he was a victim!!!! I guess those intellectuals missed the very beginning scene of the movie, which clearly conves that the movie is Sanju’s version of the incidents
now coming to the movie……the plot of the movie focused only on the Drugs and TADA case on Dutt, However that was enough for Raj Kumar Hirani to briliantly convey the emotions and relation between a super star father and his spoil brat son and the emotional depth of friendship _/\_ and Hirani in his typical style conveyed his take on the Media which runs behind Breaking News!!!!
It was a perfect Star cast and the Vicky who played the role of Sanju’s best buddy put a steller performance and made audience to notice him rather than being shadowed with steller performances of Ranbir, Paresh & Manesha……
Make up wise, Ranbir Kappor’s resembeled 80% of Sanjay Dutt but acting wise he was 200% Sanjay esp during the days of Khalnaayak times!!! He put a steller performance especially for the Drug addict and rehab acts _/\_
The icing on the cake is Sanjay’s cameo in the rolling title song “Baba Bholtha hai bas ho gaya” which is a tight slap on the TRP hungry media!!!!
PS : I was very much dissapointed as there was no mention of RGV or Daud which was the first movie to release after Dutt’s release from Jail’s first term 😛

Ranbir makeup lo 80% Sanju ayithe, acting lo 200% Sanju 🙏 Vicky కూడా superb. Hirani’s version of the story worked well for me as a father-son + friendship drama.
