not for the nrml cine goers….but a must watch!!! Director Meghana Gulzar has brilliantly showed the struggles of Acid Attack Survivor’s and her family not only that she has also included the elements like Women Empowerment, the constant struggle for running and affording a cause.
The things I loved most are :
- The relation between the lawyer and her husband….though there are no dialogues and drama around it, but director was successful in showcasing how a husband supports her wife to chase her dreams buy getting involved in basic things _/_
- The cute relation between Amol and Malti….I would have loved to see them as friends instead of making them fell in love with each other, but as they said its real life story I couldnt argue much
- Excellent Lyrics and simple music to make us feel the pain of the Acid Victims _/_
- Simple but effective dialogues without much drama but still convey the pain and message
Though acting wise there wasnt any challange for Deepika (as she has proved herself in many earlier films) but definitly need to appreciate her in taking up this film so that it could reach to maximum audience!!!!
and Vikrant as Amol did a good job in showcasing his emotions as a guy who runs for cause but couldnt afford it _/_
